Near the residence halls, you’ll find a variety of outdoor courts and playing fields. NJBS will also arrange weekend activities such as Broadway shows, dance performances, and sporting events for an added fee.

Resident assistants (RAs) will be assigned to the students to help facilitate their stay at the Summer Intensive. The RAs will serve as on-site chaperones for the students.

RUTHERFORD ROOMS

Rutherford Hall offers double rooms with private bathrooms and independent climate control. Each floor in Rutherford offers a common social space, a study lounge, and vending machines for snacks.

Rutherford has five floors and features two elevators.

Rutherford forms a quad with Florence and Hamilton Twombly Halls, creating a large courtyard and lawn space, which becomes a social hub for students, whether they are playing a ball game, tanning, catching up on reading, or enjoying the patio swings.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Students will dine in the main dining hall of Fairleigh Dickinson. Breakfast is from 7:30am-9:30am, and dinner is from 4:30pm-6:30pm.

The breakfast buffet is scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, breakfast potato, French toast sticks or pancakes, breakfast pastries, cereals, and juices. This menu may vary, but it will always offer hot and cold items.

Dinner will offer an entrée or two, side dishes (starch and veg), a salad bar, beverages, and desserts.

Box lunches will be provided, which will consist of sandwiches, chips, cookie, and bottled water.

If there are any dancers who need special dietary meals, please let NJBS  know, and we will accommodate them.

BUSING

NJBS will arrange buses to transport the students to and from the studios each day. The buses will be supervised by the RAs.
