TRAINEE PROGRAM
New Jersey Ballet is excited to offer a trainee program bridging the gap between student and professional. Selected dancers will join a pre-professional level that provides the opportunity to experience a company member’s daily schedule while preparing for the demands of professional company life.
Trainees are selected annually by New Jersey Ballet’s Artistic Director. Auditions can be submitted online or scheduled in person.
As a trainee, you will participate in daily ballet technique classes taught by New Jersey Ballet faculty. The program offers an array of exclusive classes to support technical development, strength and versatility, including Partnering, Pointe, Variations, Contemporary, Pilates, Master Stretch, and Stage Craft.
During the New Jersey Ballet season, trainees have the opportunity to take class with the Company, rehearse, and learn repertory. Performance opportunities with New Jersey Ballet are an integral part of the trainee experience; however, all performance participation is offered at the discretion of the Artistic Director.

Trainee must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
