Children’s Division

Intro (Intro to Dance) – 4-5 years

Prep 1 (Ballet Prep 1) – 6-7 years

Prep 2 (Ballet Prep 2) – 8-10 years

Children's Division ballet classes will be offered 3 times per week. You are required to sign up for a minimum of one class per week.

Student Division

Level 1 – 9-11 years 3 ballet classes per week

Level 2 – 10-12 years 3 ballet, 2 pointe, and 1 contemporary class per week

Level 3 – 11-13 years 4 ballet, 3 pointe, and 1 contemporary class per week

Level 4 – 13-15 years 4 ballet, 4 pointe, 1 contemporary, and 1 Pilates class per week

Level 5 – 14-16 years 5 ballet, 5 pointe, 1 variations, 1 contemporary, and 1 Pilates class per week

Level 6 – 16-17 years 6 ballet, 6 pointe, 1 variations, 1 repertoire, 1 stagecraft, 1 contemporary, and 1 Pilates class per week

ADV (Advanced) – 16-18 years (By Invitation Only) 6 ballet/pointe, 1 variations, 1 repertoire, 1 partnering, 1 stage craft, 1 contemporary, and 1 Pilates class per week

Please Note: all Student Division classes are compulsory

Dancers will be auditioned upon first applying for the Student Division Program. They will continue to be evaluated throughout the year by the teaching staff and finally assessed at the end of the school year by the Artistic Director. They will be placed in the appropriate level based on their age and ability. All placement decisions are solely at the discretion of the artistic staff.

Open Division

Open Division classes are designed for dancers of all ages and abilities

Open B1 (Open Ballet 1)* – 10-13 years (guide age bracket)

Open B1 caters to young students who may not wish to commit to the compulsory requirements of the Student Division. This class will also serve as an introduction to ballet training, so as to include the first-time students and nurture them toward the class level appropriate to their age and ability. 10-13yrs (guide age bracket)

Open B2 (Open Ballet 2)* – 14-18 years (guide age bracket)

Open B2 caters to the student who may not wish to commit to the compulsory requirements of the Student Division. This class will also serve as a more advanced introduction to ballet training, nurturing students toward the class level appropriate to their age and ability. 14-18 yrs (guide age bracket)

Open A/T (Open Adult/Teen Ballet)

Morning A/T (Morning Adult/Teen Ballet) *Runs Tuesday-Friday from 10:00-11:30am in Studio 2

Beg. A/T (Beginner Adult/Teen Ballet)

Int. A/T (Intermediate Adult/Teen Ballet)

Boys Class (Ballet) – Free of charge for ages 7-16 years. Annual registration fee applies

Open Jazz/HH - A combination of Jazz and Hip Hop for ages 8-15

Open Cont. (Contemporary) - Generally recommended for ages 13 and above

Open MT (Musical Theater)

Open HH (Hip-Hop)

Open Salsa

*Please note that both Open Ballet 1 and 2 will offer pointe work three times per week. To sign up for pointe, students must be taking at least two of our ballet classes per week. The minimum age to take pointe is 11.
